EDUCATIONAL ASSESSMENT AND MONITORING F22

The Montpelier School District seeks to provide all students with an opportunity to learn and reach their highest level of individual achievement. The district seeks to enable all students to discover passion and excellence in learning through a comprehensive system of education that complies with 16 VSA 2901 and 2902.

To meet these goals, the superintendent shall develop procedures to implement this policy that comply with Vermont law and Vermont State Board of Education rules, including adoption of a system to:

1. frequently assess student achievement;
2. provide information to teachers regarding student achievement; and
3. monitor student progress in achieving curriculum goals.
