This includes complying with all policies and rules of conduct of the school district and individual classrooms.

Administrative Responsibilities

The principal, in consultation with the educational staff will develop an overall discipline plan pursuant to 16 V.S.A. §1161a. Behavioral expectations and the consequences of misconduct will be stated in the district informational handbook.

The rules of conduct will be distributed to all students prior to the beginning of each school year and will be discussed with all students in accord with procedures stated in the school discipline plan. A district informational handbook will be provided to each family, each school year. When a new student enrolls during the school year, the family will be given a copy of the district informational handbook as part of the enrollment process.
