| Hi! My name is Cary Friberg. I'm one of the two guidance counselors at MHS. I work with students whose last name begins with a letter in the first half of the alphabet. I help students choose their courses and I help them make changes in their schedules. I talk to students about their plans after high school and together we make sure they're prepared for the next step. I help students search for appropriate colleges to apply to and I guide them through the application process. I'm available to help students through difficult times in their personal lives. I speak to parents often on the phone or in person when they have questions about their child's education. I like my job. It's a nice mixture of talking personally with students, parents, and teachers, and doing administrative tasks like organizing the school day, giving out information, and keeping track of students' records. |
