Rob Halpert has been engaged in the general practice of law in Montpelier since his graduation from Vermont Law School in 1983.  In 1986, Mr. Halpert became principal of the firm of Kurrle and Halpert, and operated that firm until 1992 when he became counsel to Zalinger Cameron & Lambek.

Mr. Halpert’s practice emphasizes civil litigation, including personal injury, land use, and commercial law.  He also represents several Vermont municipalities and is active in alternative dispute resolution. 

Mr. Halpert is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.  He is a past President of the Washington County Bar Association (1996) and he has served on the Board of Governors of the Vermont Trial Lawyers Association since 1993.  In 1997, he was appointed to the Legal Advisory Committee of the Vermont League of Cities and Towns
