- Student shows skill development when creating art by using line in various media (e.g. drawing, painting, sculpture) to create shape and image.
- Student shows skill development by incorporating the elements and principles of 2D and 3D design (e.g., 2D-identify color and create with color, line and shape).
- Student shows skill development by handling art tools and materials.
Reflection and Critique (AK:13)
- Student describes art using discipline specific vocabulary of visual art (e.g., thick/thin line, circle, square, rectangle, triangle).
Making Connections (AK:16)
- Student makes connections by describing and responding to works of art from various cultures and artists.
Approach To Work (AK:20, AK:21)
- Student develops personal work habits by demonstrating willingness to take part in the activity.
- Student demonstrates appropriate interactions by participating in individual and/or group work willingly and appropriately.
