What is service learning?
Service learning is a partnership between schools and the local community. Through service projects, service learning helps students build academic skills while strengthening communities.
Why get involved?
It's a "win - win" relationship. Community organizations ("partners") get help with their own projects, while students enhance their academic skills, as apprenticed citizens, through meaningful service to their community.
How to get involved:
Does your organization have a meaningful project, need or problem? Would you like to provide an authentic apprentice citizenship opportunity for Montpelier's young people? You can become a community partner to a class project. Contact Matt McLane at 225-8052 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
