My name is Brian Ricca and I am very happy to be joining the Montpelier Public Schools. Before coming to Montpelier, I was the Associate Principal for Academic Affairs at Rice Memorial High School in South Burlington. Prior to that I was an administrator and a teacher at various grade levels in Chicago, IL. My wife Michal and I live in Williston, with our sons Patrick and Brendan and our yellow lab Malachy. I am excited about the opportunity to lead this school district further into the 21st Century, committed to ensuring that "students will be capable, motivated contributors to their local, national, and world communities." There are already plans in the works for me to meet members of the community. I look forward to seeing some of you this summer and more and more of you as the school year begins.
